ČSOB Private Banking repeats as Best Private Banking in the Czech Republic
For the eighth time, ČSOB Private Banking has come out on top in the survey of the Financial Times – Professional Wealth Management and The Banker magazines, thus winning the award for Best Private Banking in the Czech Republic for 2022. The prestigious award was decided by a committee of fifteen prominent figures from the global banking industry, which assesses the nominated banks based on qualitative and quantitative data.
The award ceremony took place on November 3 in London, where Martin Kosobud, Managing Director of ČSOB Private Banking, and Pavel Tichý, Director of Segment Management and the Wealth Office, accepted the award on behalf of ČSOB Private Banking.
"We greatly appreciate this award and are proud to have received it again this year, the 20th anniversary of ČSOB Private Banking on the Czech market. We have come a long way in this time and are well aware of the fact that we have been holding the top position for years thanks to our loyal clients and our professional Private Banking team. We believe that not only our excellent business results but also PBA's approach to corporate social responsibility and responsible investment contributed to being named the Best Private Banking in the Czech Republic. In cooperation with our clients, we continue to strengthen this approach. The most visible form of cooperation is the exclusive Goodwill Card with the possibility of contributing to charity from every transaction made at a merchant, which has helped distribute nearly CZK 20 million to the needy during its existence.í.
Since the very beginning of ČSOB Private Banking, we have been supporting classical music by organising concerts for our clients, and therefore we decided to transfer our relationship to music into the artistic design of the PBA anniversary postage stamp created in a limited edition directly for ČSOB Private Banking and which serves as a token of appreciation to our important clients for their long and successful cooperation and without whom we would not be where we are today," says Martin Kosobud about the award.
